This course is designed for adults working or preparing to work in Finnish-speaking workplaces across various industries. Whether you are in customer service, construction, education, logistics, administration, or care work, this course supports you in building the language skills needed for everyday workplace communication in Finland.

  The course is structured in three progressive levels – Basic, Advanced, and Professional – allowing learners to progress at their own pace and build a strong foundation.
• Focus on Practical Workplace Language:
  Emphasis on vocabulary and expressions commonly used in meetings, instructions, group work, messaging, and daily conversations at the workplace.
• Grammar and Interaction Skills:
  Covers everyday grammar, workplace dialogue, and essential written and spoken interaction skills – from giving and receiving instructions to giving feedback and participating in meetings.
• Self-paced Learning:
  Includes video content, vocabulary sections, real-life dialogues, and interactive exercises that can be completed independently anytime.
• Authentic Language Use:
  Dialogue-based texts and situational practice build confidence and fluency for real working life situations in Finland.
• Support in English:
  All materials are guided with clear instructions in English to support learners at every step.
• Multilingual Platform:
  Available in nine languages: Danish, Estonian, English, Spanish, French, Norwegian, Russian, Finnish, and Swedish.

Learning Paths:

Finnish for working life BASIC Duration: 13 weeks

13 modules 
→ Approximate level after completion: CEFR A1 / YKI 1

Finnish for working life ADVANCED Duration: 32 weeks

Basic (13 modules) + Advanced (19 modules) = 32 modules total
→ Approximate level after completion: CEFR A2 / YKI 2

Finnish for working life PROFESSIONAL Duration: 50 weeks

Basic + Advanced + Professional (18 modules) = 50 modules total
→ Approximate level after completion: CEFR B1–B2 / YKI 3–4
