Wörk It is a joyous and wild contemporary dance piece about the bond between humans and machines. It is a living stage sculpture, animated by the movement of performers and objects. Wörk it creates looping stage images and immersive sensory experiences that invite the audience to reflect on their relationship with technology, change, and identity as well as on the themes of destruction and creation. The movement language is playful, delicate, and fierce, reflecting the emotional and dynamic spectrum that emerges when we engage with various power tools.

In the performance, the dancers operate different electric tools, as well as letting the tools operate them. We shred, saw, drill, hammer, sand, vacuum, wash, and dance. From this, an erratic and exhilarating series of images emerge on stage. Wörk it is centered around the cycle of disintegration and reconstruction and the constant surrendering to transformation.
