To express and understand oneself and the world around the participants get acquainted with the technique of "new reality". The workshop encourages the participants to develop a personal new expression arising from the inner layers of experience and imagination as well as the other participants in the workshop. How to get acquainted and manage the possibilities of performative expressions and how to allow expressions that have not yet been discovered and are unknown to us to arise?

The worksop is for professional actors, performers, dancers and students and it will include both theoretical and practical parts.

Theater director and scenographer Artūras Areima is one of the most interesting younger generation theater artists in Lithuania. He is the founder of Artūras Areima theater (2017) and is currently nominated for The Europe Prize Theatrical Realities (previous recipients include makers such as Katie Mitchell, Kristian Smeds and Rimini Protokoll). Artūras’s multidisciplinary approach is investigating the aesthetic and social transformations of reality on stage.
