The CS:GO series for students of the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences, organized by Oulu Arctic Gaming ry, begins on January 10th 2022. The first 32 teams will get in. Registration ends on December 31st 2021 at 23:59. The competition is a continuation of the already popular Oulun Akateeminen Kynärisarja. One team can include five players + a maximum of two substitutes. Each player must be a student at the University of Oulu or Oulu University of Applied Sciences and must be able to prove this if necessary. To participate, every player needs a Faceit account, which is free to create. Teams can submit their team logo to the tournament organizer.

Once you've sent the team registeration, you'll receive a separate info message about participating by email.

Matches will be streamed when possible, but as many teams as possible will be involved in the stream at least once. Games are streamed in Finnish on Oulu Arctic Gaming's Twitch channel. Matches are played on 128 tick rate Faceit's servers. The opening series starts on January 10th 2022 and will be played in Swiss format. The top 16 teams in the first round will advance to the playoffs, which will be played from January 27th 2022 to February 5th 2022. The series culminates in the final match, where the OAKS champion for 2022 will be decided.
