Welcome to hear more about the new flagship supercomputer!

CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd. will give a presentation of LUMI on Wednesday, the 4th of November 2020. The webinar is addressed to all interested parties in Central Finland.

The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC) aims to create a world-class computing and data management research infrastructure in Europe. LUMI is one of the three European flagship supercomputers and it will be located in CSC's data center in Kajaani where it starts its operations next year. LUMI will be one of the world's best-known scientific instruments and leading platforms for artificial intelligence for the lifespan of 2021–2026. This will also open up new possibilities for companies to innovate and develop new data-driven business forms.

Join us to discuss how the Finnish research, development and innovation field can benefit from LUMI and learn about the new technologies! You will also hear how high-performance computing is being utilized at Jyväskylä University. The event will be held in English.
