Welcome to hear more about the new flagship supercomputer!
CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd. will give a presentation on the LUMI supercomputer on Tuesday 9 February 2021 starting at 9:00 AM. The webinar is addressed to all at LUT University and in South-Eastern Finland who are interested in high-performance computing and AI.
The European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC) aims to create a world-class computing and data management research infrastructure in Europe. LUMI is one of the three European flagship supercomputers and it will be located in CSC´s data center in Kajaani.
LUMI will be one of the world's best-known scientific instruments and leading platforms for artificial intelligence for the lifespan of 2021–2026. This will also open up new possibilities for companies to innovate and develop new data-driven business forms.
Join us to discuss how the Finnish research, development, and innovation field can benefit from LUMI and learn about the new technologies!
