The conference brings together researchers\, engineers\, educators\, and professionals working in solid\, soil\, and rock mechanics\, fluid dynamics\, and related areas.\nThe programme reflects both established fields of mechanics and emerging developments in research and engineering practice\, including advances in digitalisation\, artificial intelligence\, and sustainable engineering.\n \nBackground\nFirst organized in Oulu in 1982\, Finnish Mechanics Days has evolved into a biennial event\, serving as a central meeting point for the mechanics community in Finland and an important venue for international exchange.\nThe conference covers a broad range of topics in the mechanics of solids\, soils\, rocks\, and fluids\, together with diverse scientific and engineering applications.
