Qatar National Library
Qatar National Library is one of the most prominent national libraries regionally and internationally. It plays a vital role in preserving and sharing the heritage of Qatar and the region, ensuring its place within the global cultural legacy.
The Library is dedicated to digitizing and providing access to Arab and Islamic heritage, and to promoting cultural engagement through year-round exhibitions, events, and community programs. It offers vast collections of print and digital resources, including databases, digital platforms, and its own digital repository.
Qatar National Library is honored to partner with AFLI in organizing the 36th Conference. The organizing committee will arrange guided tours of the Library during the conference days.
Conference Venue: Education City Student Center (Multaqa)
Multaqa is a multi-purpose student center located within Education City, part of Qatar Foundation. Designed as a vibrant community hub, it can accommodate around 10,000 visitors and is inspired by traditional Arab souqs, with interconnected courtyards and passageways that create a welcoming and lively atmosphere.
The venue is just a short walk from Qatar National Library, the official host of the 36th AFLI Conference 2025.
Located in Education City, one of Qatar Foundation’s flagship initiatives, the Multaqa center is surrounded by prestigious international universities, specialized schools, Qatar National Library, innovation incubators, technology parks, heritage sites, and cultural institutions — making it an ideal setting for this major regional event.
