The Finland Arbitration Institute is pleased to invite you to a panel discussion titled “Conflicting Calculations: Recent Nordic Case Law in Post-M&A Arbitration”.

The discussion, conducted in English, will cover key themes in post-M&A arbitration, focusing on loss calculation and drawing insights from recently published Nordic case law. These themes include the assessment of warranted versus actual value of assets, the application of risk premiums, and managing information asymmetry. 

The event is suited for both dispute resolution and M&A practitioners, as well as anyone else with an interest in post-M&A arbitration.

Panelists include:

  • Mikal Brøndmo, Partner at Haavind (Norway)
  • Linnea Clara Klingberg-Jensen, Director at Kromann Reumert (Denmark)
  • Maria Teder, Counsel at Ellex Raidla (Estonia)
  • Patrik Lindfors, Partner at Lindfors & Co Attorneys at Law (Finland)

The panel discussion will be moderated by Tuuli Timonen, FAI Board Member and Head of Dispute Resolution at Dottir. 

For in-person attendees, the event will start with registration and coffee at 15:30 (EEST/UTC+3, Helsinki Time). At 16:00, Henrik Sajakorpi, FAI Secretary General, will deliver welcoming remarks, followed directly by the panel discussion. Both will be streamed live for those attending remotely. The panel discussion will conclude at 17:30, with a networking reception for in-person attendees, including food and drinks, continuing until 19:30.
