Moodmetric Forest walk Are you in the forest mood? Come and find out yourself how nature effects on your emotions. While we enjoy the Finnish forest and do some light exercises outdoors, the Moodmetric ring will tell your instant emotional level. This is a perfect match of Finnish nature and technology for your wellbeing! Please sign up at the Info stand next to the Haltia Hall (maxium of 10 persons in one tour). Adventure in the forest trail with Elli the Elf Elli the Elf needs the help of children to find and solve the puzzles left on the forest path in Haltia's nearby nature. The program is aimed at the youngest of the family. Please sign up at the Info stand next to the Haltia Hall. Kids under 4 years of age can participate with an adult. Meeting point/start: Info stand. |
13.20-16.00 | Traditional Finnish Christmas time food and hot drinks Inside a tepee at Haltia’s outdoor event area. Enjoy rice porridge, glögi (alchohol free mulled wine) and coffee by the open fire and prepare your own stick bun. |

13.20-16.00 | Husky ride - A Glimpse of Arctic The super-friendly Siberian Huskies are waiting for you at Haltia’s outdoor event area! You have the change to go on a short husky ride. These arctic dogs really love your hugs so while waiting for your turn, why not give them a one. When there’s snow, the huskies will pull you with a dog sled. If there’s not enough snow, you’ll enjoy the ride in a dog cart. |
13.20-16.00 | Christmas ornament and gingerbread decoration workshop Come and make your own Christmas decoration. A nice Christmas gift to give or hang at you own Christmas tree at home. Workshop is held inside Haltia, at the classrooms dowstairs. Kids under 10 years of age can participate with adults. |
13.20-17.00 | Visit Haltia´s Exhibitions independently At Haltia’s exhibitions, you can experience the dazzling beauty of Finland’s national parks as well as familiarise yourself with the green areas and recreational options available in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. You can tour the exhibitions independently or join one of the guided tours. |

Guided tours at the Main Exhibition At Haltia’s main exhibition you will experience Finnish nature in a memorable way. The compelling guided tour will enforce your experience by adding fresh insights into the Finnish nature and its natural phenomena. The manuscript is built around five seasons. The mythology of the national epic Kalevala will make the story of Haltia even more colorful. |
