Maybe you've heard about them. Maybe even participated one. Everyone talks about them. They come in various sizes, shapes, colours, tastes, themes even... Everyone likes them. Not everyone likes to admit it. Some are shamed about what others might think about them.

Sometimes things escalate. Sometimes all you acquire is chill vibes. Some go down, some go hard. Ground and pound, baby. Room is filled with loud noises and rudimentary volition. Inner, primitive instincts are evoked. New type of you arises.

What am I talking about? Sitsit-parties of course!

Sitsit are an essential part of Finnish and Swedish student culture. The_Original_Sitsit is a academic evening gathering with three course meals, champagne and coctail dresscode and etiquette. Nowadays there are Sitsit parties with different themes; Mexico, porn, unicorns, family dinners, high school, construction site, trash, wappu etc. Most of the academic has dropped, dresscode has been introduced with fresh variables and the three is voluntary. Still the etiquette is held holy.

Sadly most of the Sitsit are hosted entirely in Finnish which sets the threshold to attend too high for our international mates and that is something we want to change. Now.

We are hosting an international Sitsit held entirely in English! What you need to know about sitsit is that there is going to be a lot of singing, a lot of speeches, jokes, comments, iterpellations and fun. During the night we listen to stories, share stories, sing with devotion, eat with appetite and drink with dedication. All that and more is included.

After the theme, the dresscode is "come as you are". If you are a grotesque Finn you might want to come with your overall or maybe with your bathrobe and birch whist. If you're French you could come with beret, baquet and bushy moustache. Italians can be gentle lovers, Canadien hockey players and seed sorry (not sorry) all over the place whereas Russians might arrive with vodka and bears. Or if you don't want to represent the oh so faulty stereotypes of your nation and come as you are, you're more than welcome to do so!

What this glorious night is going to cost? Just 16e with alcohol and 14e without. The price includes the food, drinks, rent of the venue and other magical surprizes throughout the evening!
