Learn the basics of algorithmic modelling using Rhino Grasshopper.
Grasshopper is a graphical algorithm editor for designers who are exploring new shapes using generative algorithms. It is integrated with Rhino’s 3D modeling tools but requires low knowledge of programming or scripting and is developed by Robert McNeel & Associates.
Create basic graphic objects—lines, circles, arcs, curves, solids, and surfaces
Model with precision using coordinate input, object snaps, and SmartTrack tools
Modify curves and surfaces with edit commands and Gumball
Use control point editing to modify curves and surfaces
Display any portion of the model
Export and import models to and from different file formats
Dimension and annotate model
Transformation & Morphing
