Important dates

All proposals should be submitted by 30.11.2025. Instructions available by October 15. Decisions of acceptance will be communicated by the end of the year. Full paper submissions will be considered for publication in an edited volume after the conference.

Registration and Conference fee

Registration for the conference opens on January 15, 2026. 

Early bird registration by April 15: Conference fee is 95 €. Attendees presenting must register by April 15.

Registration from April 16 to June 5: Conference fee is 130 €.

Fee includes lunch on both days, coffee, and evening event/dinner on Thursday.

Students presenting in the conference can participate free of charge.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to deliberate@oulu.fi  Cancellations must be made before the 28th of May 2026 (2 weeks before the event). If cancellation is done before the 28^th of May 2026, you will receive a full refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after the 28^th of May, 2026. The conference organizers reserve the right to retain all fees paid in the event of non-attendance at the conference.
