Marta Lloret Llinares is a Scientific Project Manager within the training team at EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). She leads the training activities of PerMedCoE, an EU-funded project, and develops and organises competency-based training activities for several other projects. She is experienced in running train-the-trainer courses, knowledge exchange workshops and webinar series. Marta is responsible for the development of the EMBL-EBI Competency Hub.

Marta has a PhD in Biomedicine from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. During her PhD, she was involved in teaching activities, mainly through problem-based learning. She then moved to Aarhus University as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics.
