Welcome to the Baltic Sea Region Forum!

Centrum Balticum Foundation has organised the Baltic Sea Region Forum annually since 2008. The Forum gathers people interested in the development of the Baltic Sea Region to discuss the events shaping our region and provides a possibility for experts from different sectors to meet and share their knowledge. 

Interest in the Baltic Sea Region Forum 2026 has exceeded expectations, and all seats for in-person participation are fully booked. You are welcome to join us online, the registration for livestream is open until Sunday 3 May.

Introducing 2026 Forum

Date: Monday 4 May 2026

Theme: Security in Northern Europe and the Arctic

Location: University of Turku and online

This year’s theme will be explored through keynote speeches and three panel discussions:

• Strategic Competition in the High North

• Strategic Intelligence and the Region

• Critical Natural Resources and Logistical Infrastructure
