The war has raged in Ukraine for almost 600 days by the end of September causing massive human suffering and destruction of infrastructure.
Amid all pain and suffering, we understand from our Finnish perspective that post-war reconstruction of a united society will be a massive opportunity for the Ukrainians themselves to lay foundations for thriving, transparent and responsible European nation. The Ukrainians need and deserve all our support, involving both public and private sectors.
Today, the total damages to Ukrainian buildings and infrastructure have been estimated to exceed several hundreds of billions of euros and the number keeps growing. Some reconstruction activities are naturally under way already, while the major reconstruction campaign is waiting for more peaceful times.
We at KPMG Finland have established connections with our local practice in Ukraine as well as Ukrainian authorities and state representatives. We are extremely well positioned to professionally support Finnish companies willing to participate Ukrainian reconstruction in one way or another.
Welcome to KPMG Headquarters in Helsinki on the 1st of November at 9 am, to learn and discuss the matter further!
