12:45–13:30 Possibility to take pictures/video from the LUMI data center guided by a host

13:45–14:30 Press conference

The following representatives will be answering the questions: Kimmo Koski, Managing Director, CSC, Finland; Roberto Viola, Director-General, DG CNECT, European Commission; Anders Dam Jensen, Executive Director, EuroHPC Joint Undertaking; Anita Lehikoinen, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland, and Pekka Manninen, Director, LUMI leadership computing facility, CSC, Finland

The Press conference will also be streamed, please remember to register also if you plan to participate remotely.

15:00–17:00 Inauguration ceremony, LUMI data center

Additionally, a pre-inauguration seminar will be arranged from 10:00 – 13:05 at hotel Katinkulta, Vuokatti, Finland (address: Katinkullantie 15, Vuokatti).

The seminar will discuss the role of HPC as a key technology for green and digital transformation. There will be opportunities for discussion and networking among the participants of the inauguration event. The event will be streamed.
