Kajaani can be reached by airplane or train from Helsinki.

There are direct flights between Helsinki and Kajaani operated by DAT.
Another choice is to fly from Helsinki to Oulu, which has several daily Finnair flights.

Kajaani can also be reached by train from Helsinki, operated by VR.

Charter bus transportation

The organizer will arrange a charter bus transportation between Oulu Airport and Kajaani. Traveling time by bus is around 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Departure

Charter bus back to Oulu Airport departs from conference hotels in Kajaani at 13:20 (Scandic Kajanus) and at 13:30 (Original Sokos Hotel Valjus) on Thursday 9th June. If you want to use free bus transportation, do not forget to sign up for bus transportation at the registration phase.

Local transportation

Kajaani is a small town and most of the locations are within a walking distance from the event venue and hotels. However, if you prefer taxi,you can order it from +358 800 02120. Note that this number is a national service number and you must clearly clarify that you need a taxi in Kajaani. For airport transport we recommend to order a taxi in advance.

Accommodation
