The traditional Oulu Mining Summit international conference 19.-20.9.2024

The ninth Oulu Mining Summit mining conference is organised by Oulu Mining School in collaboration with stakeholders. The aim of the event is to build a joint platform for mining companies, universities, research institutes, consulting companies and other mining-related enterprises. 

The theme of this year's Summit is "Impact, networking and training – Increasing cooperation in the extractive sector in Eastern and Northern Finland". 

Particular focus is on national minerals strategy work and RDI activities.

The main language of the Summit is Finnish. Some speeches are held in English.
