Call for Proposals

Mini-Symposium (MS)

• Mini-Symposiums typically encompass one or more conference topics (as listed).
• MS focuses on pioneering methods and tools of a more upstream nature.

Special Technology Sessions (STS) 

• Special Technology Sessions are dedicated to exploring special innovative technologies with industrial significance.
• These sessions are typically comprised of four papers. 

Host a session

• Organizers of MS or STS have the autonomy to select the contributing papers for their session.
• We invite organizers to submit the session's title, a one-page abstract outlining the session's objectives, and working titles of the contributing papers (4-6 presentations).
• Please send your submission via email fmd2026@oulu.fi by March 31, 2026.
