Kajaani can be reached by airplane or train from Helsinki. Another choice is to fly from Helsinki to Oulu, which has several daily Finnair flights, and continue the journey by train.
Kajaani can also be reached by train from Helsinki, operated by VR.

Arrival

We recommend you take Finnair’s Thursday flight AY 415, leaving Helsinki at 16:30 (arriving in Kajaani at 17:50).
Bus transportation will be available from the Kajaani Airport to the city center, leaving the airport at 18:00

Departure

We recommend you book Finnair’s flight AY416, leaving Kajaani at 18:10 (arriving in Helsinki at 19:25).

Bus transportation to the Kajaani airport will be provided.
