Haloo Helsinki! 

Haloo Helsinki! is one of Finland’s most beloved bands, whose catchy songs, strong emotions, and energetic stage presence have made them a phenomenon across generations. Founded in 2006, the band is known for numerous hits such as Maailman toisella puolen, Vapaus käteen jää, and Beibi, which have become nationwide favorites and are played on the radio as well as on running playlists across the country. 

A message from the band: 

“Hello mind and body! We’re happy to be part of this year’s Mielijuoksu event on May 23 in Helsinki. In times like these, so much is constantly happening the world is loud, and stimuli come from every direction. It’s no wonder the mind can get tangled even from small setbacks, let alone bigger ones. 

That’s why it’s so important to remember to treat ourselves as psychophysical wholes and truly get the body moving. Even a short walk can help clear your thoughts and make you feel lighter. So, a warm welcome to the Melijuoksu! 

This is a low-threshold sport event, meaning you can join completely without pressure. You can walk or run as much as feels good, everything is allowed! 

Come alone, with a friend, or with the whole family from babies to grandparents! Let’s have a wonderful day, raise funds, and move for a good cause.
