Public transportation

Leiden is easy to reach by public transport. The city centre is just a few steps from Leiden Central station. The Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is less than twenty minutes away by train. The Leiden bus station is right in front of Leiden Central train station and there are many routes serving the city and the region.

Registration on arrival to the venue

On arrival to Naturalis Biodiversity Center on 13 June, please proceed to the Annual Meeting sign-in/registration desk to confirm your arrival and get your Annual Meeting badge. You should keep the same badge also for the second day of the meeting.

The registration desk will be located in the main hall of Naturalis Biodiversity Center near the entrance to the museum.

Note that you do not need to stop by the official museum reception. 

Arrival to the Annual Meeting needs to be confirmed on both days:

WP4 members who are having their session at Naturalis Biodiversity Center on 14 June can head to the same registration desk as on the first day of the event. 

The arrival details of WP2, WP3, WP5-WP8 session members on 14 June will be collected at Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden next to the meeting rooms. 

Social programme

At the end of the official programme on Tuesday, 13 June we have the possibility to together visit the Naturalis museum.

During the two annual meeting days, you may also visit the museum on your own by showing the meeting badge. 

Note also that the visit on 13 June will not be guided.
