Venue

The 2024 BioDT Annual Meeting will take place at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) facilities located at Permoserstraße 15, Leipzig, Germany. 

All the presentations and sessions will happen in the same building called the Leipziger KUBUS. 

Once you have arrived to the venue, please first check-in/register at the entrance of the building. The check-in/registration should be done on both mornings of the Annual Meeting. 

The relevant meeting room numbers (auditorium 1A, seminar rooms 131, 219, 1C and 1D) are highlighted in the agenda. 

How to get to the venue

You can easily reach the meeting facilities by public transportation. It takes about 15 minutes by tram from the Leipzig main train station (Leipzig Hauptbahnhof). 

The tram stop is located in front of the main entrance of the main train station. You can take tram line number 3 (direction Taucha / Sommerfeld).

The exit stop is called Leipzig, Permoser- / Torgauer Str.

From the tram stop, walk towards the direction of Permoserstraße. The venue is approximately 300 meters from the stop. 

Purchasing a ticket for local transportation

You can purchase your ticket:

1. In the Mobility Centre at the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), Willy-Brandt-Platz
2. At the Service Centre, Markgrafenstraße 2 
   
3. At various bus and tram stops, service points and vending machines
4. Via the app LeipzigMOVE, available for download via https://leipzig-move.de
