On Tuesday, 11 June after the end of the programme at Leipziger KUBUS and prior to the dinner, there is a possibility to visit a museum together.
The Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig located at Grimmaische Straße 6 shows a permanent exhibition on the history of the division and unity, of dictatorship and resistance in the Soviet Occupation Zone and Communist East Germany.
Please read more about the exhibition from the museum homepage: https://www.hdg.de/en/zeitgeschichtliches-forum-leipzig/exhibitions/our-history-dictatorship-and-democracy-after-1945
The admission to the museum is free and they provide audioguides. The audioguide can be streamed individually via own smartphone at the museum under this link: https://audio.hdg.de/zeitgeschichtlichesforum/index.html

The museum closes at 18:00. Thus, we recommend those who are interested in going to the museum and are not taking part in the Council meeting, or any other ad-hoc meeting, to leave towards the museum as a group around 16:00 after the afternoon coffee break.
