Arriving to Oulu

Oulu Airport makes air travel the fastest way to reach Oulu. Located approximately 15 kilometers from the city center, the airport is well-connected to Helsinki.

The flight time from Helsinki to Oulu is about one hour. Air Baltic will operate direct flights from Riga to Oulu five days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, and Sat) from March 29 until the end of October 2026. Busses number 8 and 9 will transport you from the airport to the city center in 20 minutes. Local taxi service, Otaxi is also ready to pick you up from the airport.

There are plenty of hotels in Oulu to choose from for your stay. You can also stay in one of the hotels with pre-booked rooms for the conference, listed below. We recommend booking your hotel well in advance.

Public transportation

Congress venue is located few kilometers from the city centre. However, it is easily accessible with frequent bus connections. Closests bus stops are Kastellinhäkki E and OYS Päivystys E.
