Registration and Conference fee

As a member of the Nordic Microscopy Society (Scandem), you will get a discount on a registration fee. You can apply for a membership here and check also other benefits you enjoy as a member.

Registration for the conference opens on January 2026. 

• Early bird registration by April 15. Attendees presenting must register by April 15.
• Normal registration fee applies from April 16 to June 1.
• Registration closes June 1 at 23:59.

Fee includes the following:

• Access to scientific sessions, company exhibition, and poster session.
• Pre-congress workshops (limited attendance).
• City of Oulu reception (limited attendance).
• Lunch bags, coffee and snacks on all conference days.
• Get-together party on Tuesday evening and farewell party on Friday.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation of registration must be sent in writing to conference e-mail address: Scandem2026@oulu.fi  

Cancellations must be made before May 27,  2026 (2 weeks before the event). If cancellation is done before May 27,  2026, you will receive a refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date: May 27, 2026. The cancellation fee is 50€.

The conference organizers reserve the right to retain all fees paid in the event of non-attendance at the conference.  All accepted refunds will be made after the congress.

Modifying your registration

If needed, the registration can be modified after registration, but modifications to the registration form must be completed before April 30, 2026.
